Originally from North Carolina, Emily Tadlock moved to Maine 10 years ago to work as a reporter for WABI TV5 — and it didn’t take long for Bangor to feel like home. What started as a career move quickly became something much more as she discovered what a gem the Bangor region is and decided to put down roots, build a life and raise her family here.
Today, Emily works in communications at Versant Power, where she gets to combine her love of storytelling with her connection to the communities of northern and eastern Maine. She is passionate about the Bangor region and about helping make it a vibrant, welcoming place where people want to live, work, raise families and get involved.
Emily serves on the Bangor Region Leadership Institute Steering Committee and the Board of Directors for the Bangor Historical Society. She believes some of the best things about Bangor are the people who choose to invest their time and energy in making it better — and she’s proud to be one of them.
