Jessica Ward is an accomplished professional and Husson University alum with a degree in Business Administration. Currently serving as the Vice President of Philanthropy & Donor Engagement at Heart of Maine United Way, she has successfully transitioned her career from education to leadership, leveraging her diverse background in marketing, communications, and community engagement.
Jessica is deeply committed to her community, actively serving on the Bangor Historical Society and Dirigo Reads boards. She has also taken on leadership roles as the co-chair for significant events like the Bangor Symphony Orchestra Soiree and The Friends of the Cross Insurance Center Gala. Her dedication to regional development is further demonstrated through her role as a steering committee member for the Bangor Region Leadership Institute. Additionally, she created the ‘Pivot Playbook’ series to share insights from her professional transformation.
Living in Bangor, Jessica enjoys volunteering, exploring new hobbies, and creating lasting memories with her two children and a close circle of family and friends. With her passion for innovation and technology, she leads strategic fundraising initiatives and builds robust donor relationships across Eastern Maine.
