The staff and board of the Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation. Our top priority is our members, partners, staff, volunteers, and visitors’ health and safety. We are monitoring the recommendations from the Maine Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and state and local health officials.
Given the governor’s recommendation to postpone events with 250 or more attendees, we have decided to evaluate Chamber events, including those organized by Fusion Bangor and BRLI, on a case by case basis. We will keep you informed via email, social media, and our website. This was not an easy decision, but we feel it is the most responsible for reducing the threat of COVID-19 to our members, communities, and state.
We intend to keep our doors open and do what we can to support our members and those in our community impacted by this situation. We ask our members and community to come together at this time to support one another while continuing to make well-informed decisions to protect yourself, your family, and your business.
